Booking agreement
These Mentee Terms apply when you book and pay for a mentorship session on Brewed. By completing checkout you agree to them in addition to our platform Terms and Privacy Policy.
Sessions
Each booking is for one scheduled video session, typically one hour, focused on professional growth topics you describe at checkout.
You agree to attend on time, participate respectfully, and use the session for lawful purposes.
Payment & escrow
You pay the mentor’s listed session price plus applicable platform and Stripe fees at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe.
Funds are held on the platform until the session workflow completes — not released to the mentor until after you confirm the session took place (or the post-session window ends — see below).
Scheduling
After payment, your mentor proposes at least five one-hour time slots within the booking window. You choose one slot in your timezone.
A Zoom link is provided on your booking page once the time is confirmed.
After the session
When the scheduled session block ends, you have 24 hours to either confirm the session took place or request a refund if it did not occur as agreed.
If you take no action within 24 hours, the session may be automatically marked complete.
Confirming completion allows Brewed to proceed with mentor payout review. Requesting a refund starts an admin review — we may contact you or the mentor for details.
Refunds & disputes
Refund requests are reviewed case by case. Quality of advice alone is not grounds for a refund unless the session materially failed to occur or violated these terms.
Chargebacks without contacting Brewed first may result in account restriction.
Reviews
After a completed session you may leave a rating and review. Reviews should be honest and respectful. We may remove reviews that are abusive or clearly false.
No guarantees
Mentors share personal experience and perspective. Brewed does not guarantee job offers, funding, or specific career outcomes.
