Brewed respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how we handle it when you use our mentorship platform.
Data we collect
Account data: name, email, and profile information from Google sign-in and your Brewed profile.
Mentor applications: LinkedIn URL, résumé (if uploaded), proposed session price, and expertise details.
Session data: topics you submit when booking, scheduling choices, session status, Zoom meeting links, and reviews.
Payment data: Brewed does not store full card numbers. Payments are processed by Stripe; we store payment identifiers, amounts, and payout status.
Usage data: basic logs and device/browser information needed to secure and improve the service.
How we use data
To operate bookings, scheduling, video sessions, payouts, notifications, and customer support.
To send transactional emails (e.g. payment received, session confirmed) via our email provider.
To display public mentor profiles, ratings, and reviews.
To prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with law.
Sharing & processors
We share data with service providers who help us run Brewed, including Supabase (database & auth), Stripe (payments), Zoom (video meetings), Resend (email), and Google (sign-in).
We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Retention & your rights
We retain data as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Contact us to make a request.
Security & international transfers
We use industry-standard measures to protect data, but no system is perfectly secure.
Your data may be processed in countries where our providers operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards where required.
