Mentor Terms

What you agree to when you apply to mentor or deliver sessions on Brewed.

Last updated: June 2026

Mentor agreement

These Mentor Terms apply when you apply to mentor, maintain a mentor profile, or deliver sessions on Brewed. They supplement our platform Terms and Privacy Policy.

Independent contractor

You are an independent contractor, not an employee of Brewed. You are responsible for your own taxes, licenses, and compliance with local laws.

You control how you mentor within Brewed’s scheduling and conduct rules.

Application & profile

Applications are reviewed manually. Approval is at Brewed’s discretion. Your public profile (bio, price, topics, links) must be accurate and professional.

We may decline, suspend, or remove profiles that misrepresent credentials or harm the community.

Session obligations

When a mentee pays, you must propose at least five one-hour slots within the platform window (24-hour buffer after payment, then 7 days).

You agree to attend confirmed sessions on time, treat mentees respectfully, and keep session discussions confidential where appropriate.

Payouts via Stripe

To receive payouts you must complete Stripe Connect onboarding for a supported payout country. Brewed never stores your bank details — Stripe handles payout accounts.

Mentor payout is released after the mentee confirms completion (or the post-session window expires) and Brewed admin releases the transfer. You must keep Stripe onboarding active to receive funds.

Fees

Brewed deducts a platform service fee and Stripe processing costs from the session price before your payout. Fee percentages are shown in your dashboard and at mentee checkout.

Refunds & disputes

If a mentee requests a refund, Brewed may investigate session records and communications. You agree to cooperate honestly.

Payouts already released may not be reversible through automatic refund; chargebacks are handled per Stripe and Brewed policy.

Conduct & content

Do not solicit mentees to pay off-platform for sessions booked on Brewed. Do not provide regulated professional services (legal, medical, investment) unless you are licensed and mentees understand the limits.

You grant Brewed permission to display your profile, reviews, and session metadata as needed to operate the marketplace.
